my name is griffin; you can call me griff!

i like music, art, games, movies, cats, sailboats, surfboards, vintage road bikes, breakfast foods, modular synths, and some other stuff. while i don’t mind small talk, my favorite type of conversations are shared between close friends, family, and that one guy who stands in the corner alone at parties. i appreciate delicate sensations, especially the sound of the wind rustling the leaves in a tree, the crispness of a cool fall evening, the smell of rain in the summer, or the salt left on my surfboard after a surf session. i also realize the value of intense sensations, such as the bass of one of my favorite doom metal bands shaking my bones, the taste of waffle house after hiking 22 miles, or the fear of death while caught in a squall on a sailboat. i attempt to love with my whole heart in all relationships. life has much to offer me, and i try to live each day in appreciation of my experience here on earth.
